Lean Manufacturing, is a systematic way to minimize waste (also known as Muda) within a production system. In this method, the goal is to not sacrifice the efficiency ofsystem. The “Lean” method also considers waste from high work pressure (known as Muri) and wastes produced due to the unequal workload (also known as Mura). In “Lean” ‘s belief, any activity or process that a customer is willing to pay for is called “value.” “Lean Manufacturing” seeks to reduce anything that does not add value to you to determine what’s valuable.
This management philosophy is derived from Toyota’s production system (known as TPS) and was known only as “Lean” in the 1990s. Fergas International can help you better understand the “values” within your organizational processes and get as close as possible to the best possible use of this philosophy.
